Weekend Survey

Let’s put a little twist on the Survey. This week, name one blog that you recommend besides your own, that is not already listed in my links. It goes without saying that the blog must be family friendly.

I am going to recommend Danny Kaye. Danny is a frequent visitor here and has a pretty cool site. He has a unique way of finding significance in the mundane. Give him a visit and see what you think.

Have a blessed weekend.

  1. if I can just name one, I can’t do it, Gordon! this on the same line,as the ad for that tater chip, I can’t just pick one 🙂

    have a great weekend!

  2. I would definatly recomend Sweeter Than Ever!!

I wish I knew the ladies name who writes there. She goes by Live, Love, Laugh.

I really like the way she writes about her everyday life always with the faith that God is in control.

  3. One that I really enjoy reading is We need a…Blog Hero!

Carl Schaad works for AccuWeather and I started reading a blog that he was doing for AW. He eventually switched to his own blog, and it’s just a great, fun spot to read and laugh. He’s got a great sense of humor, and from what I can gather is also a brother in the Lord. Check him out!

    steve 🙂

  4. Well, that was mighty kind of you! Thanks for the plug!

I would agree with jel on picking just one. There are many great sites out there.
But I will give one of my many favorites anyway:

Blest With Sons has got to be one of the most enjoyable sites I go to. Blest is one funny lady. She mixes humor into almost all of her posts. She “tells is like it is” as she sees it.

    Give it a go…

  5. One of my favorite “political” commentary blogs is Confederate Yankee.

  6. hmmm…
    picking one huh?

one blog I have been enjoying lately, although it is a little out of my league so I dont comment often (in fact only rarely and only as a question) is Better Bibles Blog.

I have learned a lot and each time I vist I get more. It is a group blog and they examine most English Bible translations in an attempt to gain the most accurate understanding of the word of God they can.

  7. Well,

Since Heavenly Heartburn is one of my favorites and everyone here already knows about it, I’ll say,

Fire and Hammer by T.A. Blankenship

    Doug

P.S. Sorry I don’t know how to do links in the comment section.

  8. How about the The Wittenberg Door?

And here is the link to the blog Doug mentioned:

Fire and Hammer by T.A. Blankenship

Doug, if you wanted to do a link, it would look something like this:

    <a href=”http://www.timfireandhammer.blogspot.com/”>Fire and Hammer</a>
