Weekend Survey

Here it is again! Hopefully you will share with everyone your answers to the following three questions:

1. What is your favorite Bible verse?

2. Original recipe or Extra Crispy?

3. If you could get free tickets to the sporting event of your choice, what would you choose?

My answers:

1. Phil. 4:13–“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

2. Extra Crispy

3. College football championship game

Have a blessed weekend!

    3. LOL a debate…I don’t like sports.

  5. Adam, you are going to have trouble convincing me you like a debate!

  6. 1.) Micah 6:8
He has showed you, O man, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

2.) Extra Crispy (Even us New Englanders can get THAT one right.)

3.) Any Gymnastics event at the Olympics. (STOP LAUGHING, YOU!!!)

  7. 1. Sermon on the Mount
    2. Popeyes

  8. 1. 1 Corinthians 10:31 Whatever you do, do all for the glory of God

    2. Original. Actually for a short while they had rotisserie and it was great. I also like their honey bbq but they only have that in boneless wings now.

    3. The 7th game of the World Series at Wrigley Field between the Cubs and the Red Sox. Maddux throws a no-hitter to win it all and Neil Diamond then puts on a free concert right after!

  10. 1) Then those who feared the LORD talked with each other, and the LORD listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the LORD and honored his name. “On the day when I act,” says the LORD Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him.

    Malachi 3:16,17

Kind of a blogging theme verse.

    2) Original. No matter what Danny Kaye says! Give me seasoning over texture every day.

    3) The French Open final.

Now, this is a hard one for me, because I have hated France since they let Joan of Arc be killed, and I hate their open because the red clay just slows the game down to a crawl. Deep topspin forehands have their place – on the practice court!

But, Sampras never won the French. Sampras was the best, and now it’s Federer. Federer takes his shot this year against a vicious Rafael Nadal. It will be the match of the year, if they can both get there.
