The evolutionists have come up with a new theory concerning man’s alleged zoological ancestry. Bjorn Carey at http://www.livescience.com has purported his guess that human ears evolved from the gills of ancient fish.
Let’s see now, Darwin thought we were descended from apes (many evolutionists still do). This theory is based upon commonalities in DNA. Others see similarity in our bone structure with that of birds. Some think that mankind is descended/ascended from pigs, after all, porcine heart valves are almost identical to human. Now we are told that we are descended from fish.
I am not a scientist. I don’t understand all of the intricacies of genetics. So if I have a couple of questions concerning this latest guess, please bear with me.
We have been told for years that unborn babies have “gill slits”. These slits, which magically disappear upon contact with the outside world were supposed to be evidence of our aquatic roots. Does this new “evidence” mean that the gills jump from the cheeks of babies to the sides of their heads and become earlobes?
My second question is this: if gills are for breathing and ears are for hearing, how did the transensory transition occur? We would have suffocated for lack of breathing apparatus and none of our friends’ ears would have been developed enough to hear our last gasp.
Evolutionists just don’t get it. All of the aforementioned commonalities between the species do not point to common ancestry, they point to a common Creator. If one can find the fingerprints of Thomas Edison, George Washington Carver and other inventors/researchers on a large number of items, can we not see the stamp of the Almighty on all of His work?
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.
